
Daisy Patterson Aschehoug
After almost 4 years as a full-time associate, Daisy Patterson now contracts with the Center for Natural Resources and Environmental Policy (CNREP) at the University of Montana, Missoula. She has worked with several communities, agencies, and stakeholder groups to design and facilitate processes that address issues related to land use planning and growth management, aquifer management, and public land tenure.
Ms. Patterson’s project experience demonstrates her ability to be sensitive and effective in working in a neutral capacity with multi-party stakeholder groups that are extremely contentious. She provides support services for community and stakeholder meetings including, but not limited to: meeting design, facilitation, logistical planning, and information distribution using a variety of technologies. Ms. Patterson lectures in the Natural Resource Conflict Resolution Program at the University of Montana, and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Intermountain Chapter of the International Association for Public Participation and the Board of the Missoula Community Dispute Resolution Center. Ms. Patterson received a Masters of Science in Environmental Studies with a focus on Natural Resource Conflict Resolution from the University of Montana, Missoula. In her free time, Daisy can be found gardening, quilting, and volunteering as a mediator for small claims and justice court cases at the Missoula County courthouse.
